fuit locus sive regio, urbis Alexandriae in Aegypto, ubi Museum fuit, de quo sic Spartian. in Hadriano, c. 20. Apud Alexandriam in Musio multas quaestiones Professoribus proposuit etc. Quin pro Musio ipso Ammianus accipit l. 22. ubi ait fuisse diuturnum praestantium hominum domicilium: ex quo multi magnae doctrinae Viri prodierint: Βρυχίου memint etiam Epiphanius, de Ponder. et Mensur. unde constat, satis remotam a reliqua Urbe regionem Bruchii; quam (κλίμα τῆς πόλεως eidem dictam) suâ aetate desertam fuisse scribit. Unde sunt, qui non in ipsa urbe, sed prope eam Bruchium collocent. Martyrologium Graecum in Hilar. Εἴς τι χωρίον πλησλον Α᾿λεξανδρείας μεταφοιτᾷ. Βρούχιον ὄνομα αὐτῷ, In quendam locum, prope Alexandriam, contendit, Bruchium ipsi nomen.
